Job description
We are currently looking for a number of Higher Learning & Experienced Teaching Assistants to work in a range of supporting roles across Reading!

If you are looking for flexible, full or part time work, or just the opportunity to build up your experience in different settings then this could be the ideal role for you.

The types of roles that you will be doing will range from:

* Covering Classes while the Teachers are out, working directly alongside teachers in the classroom as a Teaching Assistant.
* Focusing on supporting pupils with their learning on an individual or group basis as well as working 1:1 with students
who may have additional needs and bariers to learning.

This is the perfect role for those who have HLTA status or strong experience as a Teaching assistant or LSA and are looking for a more flexible and varied way to work.Overseas trained teachers who have QTS but want to build up their experience of working in the UK before taking on a class teacher role, as well as strong graduates who are looking to gain experience before completing a PGCE in the future.

You will need to have the ability to build good working relationships with both adults and children, be organised, enjoy working in different setting and being adaptable to the needs of the children you will be working with.

A good sense of humour and positive approach to learning is key and having good literacy and numeracy skills will be an advantage as you could be working with Early Years up to KS2.

This is an exceptionally rewarding role which can offer something different everyday, you have the flexibility to grow and progress in your career and if you want it to, and have the right attitude and approach it can lead on to long term or permanent role within one of the many schools we work with.
