Protocol education are currently recruiting flexible & creative teaching assistants from backgrounds such as acting, music & drama who can utilise & apply their skills to primary students with special needs. As a teaching assistant you will be supporting students on a one to one basis as well as supporting the class teacher and team. Successful candidates will encourage students development, engage through sensory play & interaction, understanding social cues & skills, teaching communication and encouraging a positive and enjoyable learning experience. If successful, you will be working with primary students with special needs such as mild autism, physical disabilities and communication difficulties.

The role:
  • Full time - Monday to Friday
  • Hours - 8:30 - 15:30
  • Supporting students one to one and working as part of a team
  • Developing students learning though pictures and sensory approaches
  • Engaging students through creative lessons such as art, music and active play
