Protocol Education are looking to appoint a Female PE Teacher. This is for a maternity cover starting in January 2023. Essential to this position is an ability to teach Girls' sport, as well as either a BA QTS or a BSc Sport Science and PCGE qualification. The schoo we strive to ensure that every lesson counts, for every child, every day. This is both in and outside the classroom. They expect teachers to deliver engaging lessons that ensure students are making good progress. For this to happen behaviour must enable every teacher to teach and every child to learn. The students are expected to come ready each day to challenge themselves to be the best they can be.

 

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the planning, teaching and assessment within the PE & Games department. The successful candidate should be able to inspire and motivate students through a diverse range of learning styles. They should be able to work on ad hoc Saturdays and Sundays for sporting fixtures, as well as for periods during school holidays for match tours or other school trips. Involvement with these latter responsibilities will particularly suit a teacher with strong organisational and communication skills.

• A qualified teacher with a formal teaching qualification 

• Confident teaching PE at secondary school level

• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to new environments

• A desire to work as a team with the rest of the department and the school
