Job description
A fantastic Infant school near Tilehurst in West Reading is looking for an experienced and proactive teaching assistant to join their Reception class from September.

It is vital that you have an in-depth knowledge of the EYFS curriculum so that you are able not just to support the Teacher but work alongside them and the Early years practitioner to ensure that children are not just achieving academically but growing in all aspects to become rounded learners who develop from an early age a passion for knowledge and the world around them.

The school are lucky enough to have fantastic grounds which enable them to really develop the ethos of outdoor education, so a passion for nature and a freeflow learning environment is essential.

You will need to have experience working in a primary school, ideally in EYFS and be able to obtain references for this within the last 3 years as the school are looking for someone who has the direct experience with phonics in particular to be able to bring this experience to the role.
