Job description
Are you highly motivated and determined to make a real difference to the lives of children?

Would you like to join our happy team who have just had outstanding judgements at our recent OFSTED?

Are you committed to raising standards with a drive for outstanding pupil attainment and progress?

Are you creative, fun-loving and experimental, ready to engage children across the entire curriculum?

If you think all of the above apply to you, Protocol Education would love to hear from you.

A primary school in Barnsley are looking to appoint a highly motivated teacher to join their happy staff team in the outstanding Early Years provision on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This post will be for two terms at least from January 2017.

The early years provision gives children an outstanding start and firm foundation to their learning, because staff skilfully capture their interests, so that they really want to investigate and learn and consequently make very rapid progress Ofsted 2015

Ofsted in November 2015 judged the school to be ‘good’ with outstanding for Leadership and Management and for the Early Years provision.

Leadership at the school is forward thinking - and the well-being and work-life balance of the teachers is very important. The school give autonomy to teachers and will not dictate planning, marking or teaching styles. The school want you to give us your best and our non-negotiables are outstanding attainment and progress for every child, coupled with kindness and warm-heartedness.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a NQT to start their teaching career or for an experienced colleague looking for a new challenge.

Protocol Education are currently seeking highly motivated teaching staff who are looking for long term teaching work. If you think you would be suitable for this particular role, please forward your CV to ngraham@protocol-education.com or call the Protocol primary team on 0114 252 1970 to register your details with us. Our dedicated team of conultants work hard to secure the best placements for candidates and can also offer CPD training courses to those who wish to further their professional development.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
