EYFS Teacher – Foundation 2

LS12, Leeds | Fixed Term | Full Time

Are you the kind of teacher who loves story time, messy play, and helping children discover new things every single day?

Whether you’re an experienced EYFS Teacher or an ECT ready to begin your teaching journey, this could be a brilliant opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in LS12.

We’re working with a lovely school looking for a warm, enthusiastic and nurturing teacher to join their F2 team on a fixed-term basis. They’re searching for someone who genuinely enjoys working with younger children and understands how important those early school experiences really are.

This is the kind of role where every day feels different. One minute you’re leading phonics, the next you’re building rocket ships from cardboard boxes or celebrating a child writing their name independently for the very first time.

For ECTs, this is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, gain valuable experience and feel part of a supportive school community from day one.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering engaging, play-based learning
  • Creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional and academic development
  • Building positive relationships with children, families and staff
  • Encouraging curiosity, confidence and creativity every day

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold QTS or are completing your teacher training
  • Have a genuine passion for Early Years education
  • Bring warmth, patience and creativity into the classroom
  • Are eager to learn, grow and make a difference
  • Believe every child deserves to feel supported and inspired

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive pay rates
  • FREE CPD and training opportunities
  • Ongoing support from your dedicated Protocol Education consultant
  • A welcoming school environment with supportive staff
  • A great opportunity for ECTs to kickstart their teaching career

If you’re ready to inspire little learners and make a real impact during those important early years, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and take the next step in your teaching journey.

If you’ve got the energy, creativity and care to make little learners love school, we’d love to hear from you.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for further details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’, this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.

Full assistance provided. For details of our privacy policy, please see visit the Protocol Education website.
