Job description
I am currently seeking a SEN Teaching assistant to work at a lovely Primary school in Uxbridge.

•You will need to have a DBS registered to the online update service and be available to interview ASAP as the position is for a January start.
•You will need to have experience of working with children with SEND on a 1:1 basis or demonstratable transferable experience in this area.

The position is to work on a one to one basis with a little boy who will be joining the Reception class full time from January, he is non-verbal and still requires personal care.
This role would suit someone who has a real passion for working with children with SEND and who has a calm and patient nature, but who also has the skills and strategies to be firm and support with learning and development. Knowledge of PECs or Makaton would be an advantage.
This is a full-time position, so you will need to be available to work between 8:30-4. Initially this role is up until July however there is the potential of a permanent position after this point for the right person, therefore this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference!

If you are interested in the position, please get in touch by email ideally with you updated CV and a short paragraph in the body of the email with your interest in the position.

The school are looking to interview this week ideally so if you are interested please do get in touch ASAP
