EYFS Learning Support Assistant

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for an outstanding primary school in Chelmsford. This is a Learning Support role for an energetic candidate to support a group children that are of a lower ability in the classroom. In addition to this, conducting some group intervention work with pupils with SEND or behavioural difficulties. The desired candidate must be ambitious, be able to build good relationships with both staff and children, and embrace the ethos and inclusiveness of the school.

The successful candidate will:
• Have relevant experience/interest in working with children within a SEND setting or with Autism
• Have an understanding of the National Curriculum
• Have the confidence to address conflict and challenging behaviour
• Be willing to work flexibly and constructively as part of a team
• Be passionate about supporting and encouraging every student to fulfil his/ her potential
• Be able to use their initiative

EYFS experience is desirable for this role

This is a permanent role, term time only contract working 39 weeks per year, 25 hours per week.
