Job description
Islington is one of the most accessible boroughs in London, and with over 44 Primary Schools there is plenty of work available for hard-working and enthusiastic teachers. The borough is a very vibrant and diverse area and has a great buzz about it, over half the Primary Schools are located in beautiful Victorian buildings the rest in very modern and newly equipped buildings all of which offer amazing facilities and spacious, bright classrooms.

I am currently working closely with a number of Primary Schools in Islington, helping them recruit hard-working, dynamic and inclusive EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 Classroom Teachers to start as soon as possible or in January 2019. Having visited most of the schools myself I can vouch they have a very enjoyable approach to learning, staff, parents and carers work together to ensure everyone achieves and receives the best education possible.

This job is suitable for NQT's

The successful candidate must have;

• QTS or equivalent qualification if from Australia, Canada or New Zealand
• Excellent knowledge of the UK Primary National Curriculum
• Consistently high expectations of all pupils
• Outstanding team work
• A commitment to continuous professional development
• Positive relationships with children, parents, colleagues
• Creative and flexible approaches to teaching
• Excellent behaviour management
• A high regard for inclusion and equality
• The ability to make a positive contribution to the school as a whole

Please note. We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
