Are you a qualified EYFS (early years foundation stage) teacher?
Do you have experience with Makaton?
Do you have experience teaching children with ASC (autism spectrum condition)?
Do you have a passion working with children with additional needs?

Protocol Education are working with an EYAC who are after a teacher to teach children with ASC. The students you will be teaching are aged 2 to 4. These children have communication barriers so experience with Makaton is desired. This school offers the children a range of learning experiences in an environment where they feel cared for and secure. The efforts and achievements of the children are both encouraged and praised. This center holds a range of different intervention groups alongside the children's IEPS (individual education plans). These groups include intensive interactions, attention autism and sensology. This center also has an outdoor provision where the children can develop their gross motor skills and taking risks. Children are encouraged to explore and make choices on their own through a variety of resources.

•Qualified EFYS teacher
•Experience teaching children with ASC
•Experience with Makaton is desired but not essential
•Innovative approach to learning
•Build rapport with the children
•Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the children to be successful
•Teach material based on the children's individual needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
