If successful you will be required to support students with speech & language, develop sentence structure through the use of images, support them in play that include reading and sand play, take part in creative lessons that include music, art and movement. You will also encourage the use of sensory integration utilising materials that explore sound, touch & visual senses to stimulate students cognitive processes .
Main responsibilities include:
- Working as part of a small team and supporting students collectively
- Partaking in lessons and encouraging students to feel involved and immersed
- Provide one to one support through out of the day to ensure students have a positive learning experience
- Developing motor skills
- Developing speech and language
