We're looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Bristol. If you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs and love seeing pupils grow in confidence, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

• Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND.
• Supporting children with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs.
• Helping pupils access learning in a way that works for them.
• Working closely with teachers, the SENCO and wider support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Encouraging independence, building confidence and celebrating every success along the way.
• Supporting positive behaviour using consistent and nurturing approaches.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role.
• Confidence supporting children with a range of additional needs.
• A calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine passion for helping every child achieve their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
