Job description
Protocol Education is recruiting for an experienced SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health) Assistant to start immediately, for a full time post (term time only) in Leicester city centre.

The school we are recruiting for is a excellent SEN Secondary School who's pupils range from 11-16 years old. All of the pupils in the school have challenging behaviour and most with traits of Autism. Therefore, a resilient, empathetic and patient individual would be perfect for the role. The role will involve a combination of 1:1 support and general classroom support.

The successful candidate will:
Have experience supporting students with SEMH issues, either in school capacity or through Youth or Support work.
Be enthusiastic and flexible with a very "hands-on" approach
Have first class communication skills
Be passionate about making a difference
Be prepared to get involved with school life and make a positive contribution to the school
Possess a positive and helpful attitude
