Job description
I have an exciting opportunity available to join an independent day nursery in Watford as an experienced Nursery Nurse/Room Leader. You will be part of a company totally committed to providing exceptional care that helps young children to develop.

Located in the heart of Watford, the nursery is walking distance from the Town Centre and easily accessible by public transport. The nursery has capacity for 30 children across it's individual rooms, all of which can access a secure outdoor play area.

If you are at least Level 3 qualified with post qualification experience, looking for a new opening or feel you are ready to take the next step in your career, then this could be the perfect role for you to join and be part of a team of experienced child care practitioners, all working together with enthusiasm!

The position is a full-time position working Monday-Friday working varying shifts within the nursery opening hours of 7:30am-6pm. Salary is between £21,000-£24,500 (depending on experience) with additional benefits including generous rising holiday entitlement and excellent in-house training.

Key responsibilities:
·Manage the practitioners and quality of childcare within a room
·Ensure stimulating and inspiring activities are provided for the children in the room
·Assisting with the monitoring of staff performance within the room
·Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
·Coach and mentor practitioners to deliver high quality childcare
You need:

·NNEB * BTEC Nat Dip * CACHE Dip in Childcare * NVQ level 3 *SVQ Level 3

·Experience within a private day nursery
