Job description
Experienced Cover Supervisor needed for a Permanent placement

My Client is looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor to start after the half term break.

The successful candidates will work with classes across the curriculum in the absence of teaching staff to ensure that work set by teaching staff is completed, behaviour is appropriate and to ensure the health and safety of all students. Working hours are Monday 8.20am3.20pm and Tuesday – Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm, including a 45minute unpaid break and a detention duty until 4pm one day per fortnight.

Experience in the below is essential:

Delivering cover work set by the class teacher.

Providing feedback to the classroom teacher on the pupil’s progress against lesson plans, conduct of the lesson. Keeping pupil related records.

Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies and procedures.

Collecting any completed work after the lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher.

Manage pupils behaviour
