We’re working with a number of welcoming secondary schools across North Leeds, particularly in the LS17 area, who are looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to join their teams. These schools are known for their supportive staff culture, strong behaviour systems, and commitment to helping both students and staff thrive.

This is a brilliant opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers, or experienced classroom support staff looking to gain valuable school-based experience. No two days are ever the same, and you’ll play a key role in keeping learning on track when teachers are absent.

What does the role involve?
You’ll be:
• Supervising classes across a range of subjects using pre-set work provided by teaching staff
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged in learning
• Supporting students to complete tasks and maintain a positive learning environment
• Building strong relationships with students and school staff
• Gaining hands-on classroom experience within supportive secondary schools
