ASC TEACHER FOR SEPTEMBER START

RATE: £130-£160

ASD / ASC - Autistic Spectrum Disorders / Conditions:
Autism and Aspergers syndrome are both part of a range of related developmental
disorders known as autistic spectrum disorders (ASC). They begin in childhood and
last through adulthood. ASD can cause a wide range of symptoms, which is why Protocol Education are seeking a qualified Special Needs Teacher, who is experienced teaching ASC students.

We have a lovely school based in Barking which is dedicated to ASC SEN students. The school caters to EYFS-KS4 students with exceptional support works based in every class. The school also has amazing facilities to support the student's education and improvement development in behaviour. The school offers CPD training as well as Protocol Education for those who need a refresher or a new qualification.

The Position we are looking for is a Primary ASC Teacher. The class will have 6-8 students and a minimum of two LSA's. You will need to be able to:
• Creative Plan Lessons (for eating, hygiene, self-independence)
• Behaviour managements
• PPA time will be given
• Good knowledge on ASC & SEMH
• MAKATON or PECS experience
• Team Teach qualification (Ideal but not mandatory)
• Have a QTS or NQT
• SEND Teaching experience
