Experienced Complex Needs TA

Rate: £60-£80 per day

Location: Enfield North London

Protocol Education are working with a special school in Enfield in North London catering for students aged between 4 and 19.

The school is a special school that specializing in working with students with complex needs. The students have physical, medical, communication, hearing or visual impairments or other learning needs. The school prides itself in hiring supportive candidates to make a supportive environment for students. The school is made for students that mainstream schools too physically or emotionally challenging, and not able to cater to the needs.

Complex needs TA's are needed to work in the Secondary Class. Working as a Complex needs TA the ideal candidate will have the understanding that students with complex needs is someone with two or more needs affecting their physical, mental, social or wellbeing. Such needs typically interact with and exacerbate one another leading to individuals experiencing several problems simultaneously.

An experienced TA is Required and will need the following experience:

ØA year of SENTA experience
ØAble to do Personal care
ØWork in a Team
ØA good knowledge of complex needs
ØChallenging behaviour experience
ØDe-escalation qualification (ideally Team Teach)
ØCommunication improvement skills
ØCreative encouraging ideas
