What we are looking for:
- Someone who can lead a staff team to deliver high standards for the children
- Experience of being responsible for a team of staff
- An excellent role model to the staff and children at all times
- Someone who has a good understanding of the EYFS and to be able to use this to plan activities for the children
- Someone who is aware of planning, observing and record keeping for young children and the ability to link these to the individual child's needs
- Someone who can be inspirational to those working with them and motivate them to succeed
- This role could suit a person looking to make their first steps into a senior role in a nursery
- Offering training and support to Room Leaders to help them succeed in the role
- The successful candidate will have the interpersonal skills to enjoy positive healthy relationships with nursery parents and colleagues
You will ideally have:
- An NNEB, NVQ, Cache level 2 or 3 or recognised equivalent Early Years Childcare / Nursery Nurse
- Good understanding and working knowledge of the Early Years curriculum
