Job description
Experience isn't everything! Schools in and around the Bristol area are always looking for fun and enthusiastic candidates to go in and bring a fresh perspective to working with children. We work with Mainstream and Specialist schools so depending on your preferences and interests, we can get you the experience. The great thing about working with additional needs is that you can build your experience and use transferrable skills in your daily work. We have candidates from all different backgrounds who get on perfectly working with SEND, you just need the right attitude.

Examples of great previous experience:
•Sports Coaching
•Prison Officer
•Support/Care Worker
•Graduate
•Youth Worker
•Camp America./Outdoor Pursuits
•Family member/friend with SEND

Many previous employments/ experiences work well in SEND schools as children engage with candidates who are a bit different and who they can find relatable. If you have a hands-on approach and are eager to learn, you will get on really well!

Many mainstream schools like to see candidates with different backgrounds as they bring different skill sets to the classroom that allows them to work and communicate with the children positively. If you are interested in full/part time roles in either day-to-day support or in a long term placement, we have them available!

If you are interested in working with additional needs, please apply. Alternatively, please send your CV to jess.best@protocol-education with a brief explanation of your experience and your reasons for wanting to work with additional needs.
