Job Title: Exam Invigilator
Location: Barking and Dagenham, London
Contract Type: Casual / Part-Time
Salary: £12.50 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: April 2026 (Summer Exam Season) or sooner.
About the Role
We are seeking reliable, calm, and observant individuals to join our team of Exam Invigilators for the upcoming exam season. As an invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring that all examinations are conducted in accordance with school and exam board regulations, helping to create a safe and supportive environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms before exams begin and ensure they are properly equipped.
- Distribute and collect exam papers and materials.
- Supervise students during examinations to ensure exam conditions are maintained.
- Record attendance and report any irregularities or incidents.
- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the examination process at all times.
About You
We are looking for individuals who are:
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in manner and appearance.
- Able to follow instructions precisely and work well as part of a team.
- Calm under pressure and able to maintain a quiet, focused atmosphere.
- Flexible and available during the main exam periods (typically April–July and November–December).
- Experience working in a school or with young people is desirable but not essential — full training will be provided.
