Job description
Protocol Education are looking for students who are currently completing their education (or equivalent) degree. Our schools in Bristol and South Gloucestershire are looking for LSA's to work with them on a daily basis to support their children in the classroom. This working pattern is great if you are working around your studies and want to gain classroom/SEND experience. You have the flexibility to work the days and the hours that you want! We also offer full-time long-term placement in schools with the opportunity of a permanent position.

The SEND schools in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area support children with different needs for example, ASD, SEMH or PMLD. Due to the needs and the vulnerability of the children, candidates must be reliable, friendly and have a hands-on attitude. An open-minded approach and resilience are also key factors to working with SEND. Previous experience is not essential but basic knowledge, qualifications or other experience working with children is highly desirable.

The role will consist of supporting the class teacher during the day, working 1:1 or in small groups with the pupils, assisting with planned activities and ensuring the children have positive and fulfilling days.

Other benefits of taking a job with Protocol Education Bristol are:
•Guaranteed work scheme.
•Commitment to quality and safeguarding short and long-term vacancies to suit your needs.
•An extensive CPD training programme.
•Dedicated and education specialist consultants.
•A bonus scheme for referring friends and colleagues.

If this role is of interest to you, we'd love to hear from you at the Bristol office. Please register on our website https://www.protocol-education.com/Candidates/mydetailspartial.aspx and a member of our team will be in contact with you shortly.
Alternatively, send a CV directly to jess.best@protocol-education.com
