Job description
**English Teacher** September 2016 start

I am working with a mainstream secondary school based in Waltham Forest that is recruiting for an English Teacher for a September 2016 start.

You will be teaching key stage 3 and 4 English, if you are able to teach key stage 5 that will be advantageous.

You will be a passionate teacher, dedicated to improving students knowledge of English and raising attainment levels, utilising your teaching techniques. You will support the English department, attending department meetings.

With excellent knowledge of English, you may be required to run intervention sessions for those students that need additional support with English, and may also attend school trips.

NQTs and experienced teachers are both welcome to apply. Only successful applicants will be contacted.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
