We are looking for a self-motivated and resilient SEN English Teacher for our client in the Borough of Greenwich area. The role will be to deliver the English Curriculum to GCSE level. This role could be permanent for the right candidate.

As the successful English Teacher, you will be resilient yet nurturing. We are looking for a candidate experienced in delivering English at secondary level, however due to the nature of the students, ideally with experience of or have a keen interest in SEND, along with knowledge and understanding of the issues faced by young people with SEND.

This specialist school, based in the Greenwich area, provides education to children and young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH), autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and moderate learning difficulties. The successful English Teacher will be supported by an experienced team. Regular team meetings provide support to all staff. Ofsted has highlighted "The school is a caring and supportive community. Pupils' personal development and well-being is good. Pupils often re-engage in their education. Parents and pupils say that this is due to the dedication of staff".
