Protocol Education is recruiting a passionate English Teacher to join a welcoming SEND secondary school in Gateshead this September. Although this is a secondary teaching position, many pupils are working at Key Stage 2 level, so you'll need to confidently differentiate learning, particularly for Year 5 and Year 6 learners.

The Role

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English at secondary level
• Confident adapting lessons for pupils working at KS2 level
• Passionate about inclusive education
• Able to uphold the school's strong religious ethos and values
• Excellent behaviour management and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
