We have great honest relationships with our schools. This school is in the Selby area so easily accessible from Leeds, York and Wakefield. The school receives Good consistently through Ofsted. Our partnership school is looking for a dedicated English teacher who can really see the potential of their students and bring it out of them! It is crucial with the learning time lost that you are organised and passionate about the subject.

February 2021 start (potential to become permanent).
£120 £170 (experience based)
Due to the current climate of Covid-19 you would need to be comfortable with a video style interview.

The school do teach up to KS5 so it would be an advantage if you can teach A-Level, but this is not essential as the team are quite flexible with the timetable. If you have any other interest let us know as the school do cater for and encourage new extra-curricular clubs.

The school has a very supportive English department ranging from highly experienced members of the SLT team to RQTs, so do not feel like you will be overlooked if you are an NQT as you will have the support. All teachers with strong subject knowledge and experience of the current UK English curriculum are encouraged to apply. You will be joining a well-supported department. Schemes of Work will all be sorted for the rest of the year and you will need to simply tailor this to your student's abilities.

This is a full-time role but for the right person a 4-day role could be considered. The school have a great support system with excellent behaviour positive students as a result.

You Must:
•Hold a DBS on the update service if not you must get one once registered
•Have two recent professional references from teaching roles
•Have an overseas police check if you have been in another country for 6 months or more
•Have a clear criminal record
•Hold a recent CV
•Have your ID documents & teaching qualifications
