Are you an English Teacher looking for an opportunity to Teach at a Good school in North Birmingham.

Located in the North of Birmingham within easy commutable distance from Birmingham city centre, Solihull and surrounding areas, this secondary school are looking to appoint a Teacher of English to a position for a September start. The post is initially offered on a 1 term basis though there is the capacity for the successful candidate to secure a permanent full time position depending on performance. The school have recently been graded as Good by Ofsted and have an excellent local reputation, with behaviour of pupils classed as outstanding.

The school is comparable to an average sized secondary school nationally, with the proportion of pupils coming from minority ethnic backgrounds including those who speak English as an additional language above average. The number of pupils at the school on school action or school action plus as well as the number of pupils with statements of Special Needs is below the national average. The proportion of pupils eligible for free school meals is broadly in line with the national average.

The school has excellent facilities and benefit from an excellent location and site being based in comparatively new facilities. The school have a forged a strong reputation over the past 5 years and have a well developed leadership team who have embedded a real culture of high expectation for both output and outcome throughout the school.
