Job description
The leadership of this Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' school in south Leicestershire, are currently looking to recruit a dedicated and passionate teacher of English to join their team in August 2017. This is a full-time, permanent post, and would be the ideal role for a fully qualified teacher of English who is looking for an exciting new challenge.

You will ideally be a fully qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS), with a specialism in English. The school caters to pupils aged 11-19, so experience in teaching English to key stage 5 level is highly desirable, however additional support can be provided if you do not feel you have the experience to teach to key stage 5. You will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of raising attainment in key stages 3 and 4, and will also have exceptional behaviour management skills alongside the desire to help every student achieve their potential.

The college offers exceptional CPD opportunities, and many long-serving members of staff have progressed their career in a timely manner. If you are a career-minded individual, you will be given the additional training and support required to help you achieve your goals.

Interviews will be held throughout the first half of June 2017, so if you this sounds of interest, please contact Leigh Edwards on 0116 216 2122 or apply online.
