English Teacher
If you love helping young people find their voice through stories, language and ideas, this English Teacher role in Newcastle upon Tyne could be the perfect next step. The school is looking for someone who blends creativity with structure and who enjoys supporting pupils as they grow in confidence.
What the role involves
You’ll teach English across KS3 and KS4, guiding pupils through reading, writing, analysis and discussion. Lessons will give students the space to think independently, express opinions and improve their communication skills.
You’ll be responsible for
- Planning and delivering engaging English lessons
- Supporting GCSE exam skills
- Encouraging thoughtful conversation and debate
- Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching
- Working with a supportive English team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
