The Role
We are looking for an educator who loves literature and language to join this high-performing team. You will be responsible for:

Planning and delivering engaging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (A-Level teaching is available for the right candidate).

Cultivating a love for reading and analyzing diverse texts, from Shakespeare to contemporary voices.

marking and assessment to drive progress and close attainment gaps.

Contributing to the department's extracurricular offerings, such as Debating Club, Creative Writing workshops, or theatre trips.
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role, you must have:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent in the UK.

A relevant degree in English Literature, Language, or a related discipline.

A strong understanding of the GCSE English curriculum (AQA/Edexcel).

A passion for literacy and the ability to make complex texts accessible to all learners.

The ability to build positive rapport with students and manage behaviour effectively (though behaviour at this school is exemplary).
