We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of English at a quality Secondary School. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious professional with the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4, and will join a school which is dynamic and inspiring; creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students. As a key member of the team, you will play a lead role in curriculum development alongside progressing and enhancing the learning of students within the academy and beyond. We are keen to secure a high calibre teacher who can make a telling contribution to our forward looking team. We welcome applications from NQT and RQTs.

You will be part of a mutually supportive English team which has outstanding leadership within it; there is a very strong commitment to improving standards. The department has seen excellent progress results in recent years. The appointed candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and will be supported by our teaching and learning team including Lead Practitioners (one which is an English specialist). The successful candidate will be fully supported throughout our bespoke CPD programme in order to enhance career development.

As a supply teacher working you will be required to;

• Be passionate about making a difference to a student's learning.

• Supportive and understanding of all students' needs.

• Knowledgeable of additional needs and how this can alter a student's learning in the classroom.

• Be flexible to travel to ensure regular work in Essex and Havering.
