We are working in partnership with a Secondary School based n Newham who are recruiting a teacher of English to inspire the next generation of Literacy students. We would like to hear from you if you can share your enthusiasm for the subject, your knowledge and your skills with all students and staff. You will enjoy being part of a friendly and supportive team committed to making a difference to the lives of our young people. 

They are looking for an outstanding English Teacher. You must be able to demonstrate high quality teaching, a passion for your subject and strong subject knowledge.  The school is well resourced and has excellent facilities including.  

Applicants are welcome from those new to the profession or experienced teachers. There is potential for outstanding candidates to take on a departmental leadership role.

You will be an excellent classroom practitioner and bring passion and enthusiasm for the subject. You will be able to teach lessons which demonstrate the Academic Values of the School. You will have a clear desire to ensure high standards of pupil progression and attainment, providing stimulating learning opportunities.  

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS

• Be able to develop, plan and deliver effective and high quality lessons to all students

• Have excellent subject knowledge and be committed to ensuring all students reach their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
