Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable).
• Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality learning experiences.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to drive attainment.
• Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in English or a related subject.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A passion for literature, language, and student achievement.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
