English Teacher – Secondary School – Haringey

What you’ll be doing:

• Teaching engaging and creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience)
• Inspiring a love for reading, writing and critical thinking
• Creating a positive, well-managed classroom where all students can thrive
• Planning, marking and assessing in line with the national curriculum
• Supporting students of all abilities, including those with additional needs
• Contributing to the wider English department and school community

What the school is looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
• Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
• A creative and adaptable approach to teaching
• A genuine passion for supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
