The Department

English is central to whole-school improvement, with a strong focus on:

• Reading development and comprehension

The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging lessons across Years 5–8

• Support literacy development at a crucial stage

• Prepare pupils for transition to Key Stage 4 expectations

• Maintain consistent behaviour and presentation standards

• Contribute to departmental planning and tracking

This is a full teaching role including planning, marking and assessment.
