The Department

The English department is organised, focused and outcomes-driven. There is a clear emphasis on:

  • Structured schemes of work across KS3 and KS4

  • GCSE preparation and exam technique

The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations

  • Differentiate for mixed-ability classes

  • Maintain high behavioural and academic expectations

  • Track and monitor student progress

  • Contribute to departmental planning and moderation

This is a full teaching role including planning, marking and assessment.
