We’re working with a range of secondary schools within the Stockton and surrounding area looking for passionate English Teachers who can bring literature to life and help students find their voice. Whether you’re after the flexibility of daily supply or a full-time, long-term role where you can really shape a curriculum, we’ve got opportunities ready to go.

From KS3 creative writing to GCSE exam prep, you’ll be guiding students through the power of language, building confidence in reading, writing and speaking. The schools we partner with value strong subject knowledge, supportive classroom culture, and teachers who genuinely enjoy their craft.

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Supporting students with exam preparation and coursework

• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment

• Working collaboratively with an established English department

What we’re looking for:

• UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

• Experience teaching English in a secondary setting

• Strong classroom management and clear communication skills

• A creative, thoughtful approach to planning and delivery

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
