Job description
Fully qualified teachers specialising in Maths and/or English are wanted to work 1:1 with students who have been either excluded from mainstream or are in the process of being reintegrated into mainstream.

Main focus on English and Maths is required although the role will involve some teaching of all subjects. Report writing will be required and given over to tuition coordinators in order to track students progress.

Good humoured, confident teachers who are able to quickly build rapport with students are ideal for this role. Experienced and newly qualified teachers welcome to apply.

Tuition takes places at the alternative provision based in Tower Hamlets, East London.

If you are a friendly and confident teacher with strong subject knowledge in either Maths or English you are ideal for this role.

Candidates must be fully qualified and hold a current DBS.


We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
