We are currently living through a tumultuous period of our history ourselves, and the importance of evaluating and dissecting our actions as human beings has never been more important. In order to look to the future, we must first understand the past.

If you are an inspiring and engaging practitioner who has a desire to educated and encourage debate amongst your students, then this is the perfect position for you! A comprehensive school in Camden are seeking an innovative and exciting new History teacher to join their faculty.

The desired candidate will be expected to implement methods of raising attainment, to help draw the intelligence out of their students. As a History teacher, you will be expected to prepare lesson plans that will stimulate and engage with the students. History is always most exciting when it can be made relevant, so creative approaches to delivering the curriculum are encouraged.

The start date for this position is currently aimed for a September start, but please bare in mind any addition complications with the COVID-19 process may delay this, or additionally any rapid progress to eliminating the virus may bring it forward.

Essential requirements:

Degree in history or a relevant qualification is desired
Extremely high regard for safeguarding and compliance
Effective behaviour management skills
Ability to assess different methods of learning
Dedication to improving students learning and experience in school
QTS Status
DBS Checked
