Job description
Protocol Education are working on behalf a college in the Tyne and Wear area to recruit an Electrical Assessor. The role is to start immediately and will be on going. There is opportunity for the position to be made permeant for the right candidate. The position has become available due to an expansion in the college's apprenticeship provision. This a full time role (37 hours over 5 days).


This OFSTED graded Outstanding College is located close to Newcastle and Gateshead, making it easily accessible from public transport and the surrounding areas. In previous years the college was named the Top Company to Work For in the North East and also Best Not-For-Profit company in the region.

Successful candidates will:

• Be occupationally competent with experience of the NVQ assessment processes.
• Will have experience of the electrical industry, having worked in and completed a time served apprenticeship and having gained City & Guilds 236/2330 or equivalent.
• You must possess either D32/D33, A1 or TAQA L3 award and also D34, V1 or TAQA L4 is desirable.
• You must have access to your own transport, a current valid driving license and business insurance.
