Educational Support Assistant

Protocol Education are looking for support workers that come from a care background looking to transition into education. The role is working in fantastic Surrey primary schools, developing academic studies. As part of the role you will be working 1:1 or lead small groups of learners with special needs such as autism and behavioural difficulties.

These schools require someone who is open about working in special needs and is keen to develop their skills. As part of the role, we offer accredited CPD that include learning strategies, behaviour techniques and medical procedures.

No previous experience is needed, but previous experience working in care homes or residential homes would be advantageous.

This is a full-time support position up until the end of the academic school year and potentially longer.

Main Duties:
• Supporting students 1:1 with numeracy, literacy & sensory integration
• Assessing pupils' levels and ability
• Behaviour management
