Protocol Education is working with a wide network of secondary schools across North Somerset that are already preparing for September recruitment. We’re supporting schools across Somerset with a range of opportunities for Maths ECTs looking to secure the right start to their teaching career.

Because we work closely with so many schools across the city, we’re able to give you early access to vacancies before they’re widely advertised, arrange interviews quickly, and help match you with schools that suit your teaching style, strengths and career goals. After 20 working weeks, many of our teachers move onto direct contracts with their placement school.

We’re recruiting for:

  • Full-time and part-time Maths teaching roles
  • Permanent positions
  • Long-term opportunities with potential to become permanent
  • Roles across KS3 and KS4

Many schools are already arranging interviews and trial days before half term, and Maths teachers remain one of the most in-demand subjects across Bristol.

We partner directly with secondary schools who trust us to support their September recruitment. Instead of applying through endless job boards, you’ll have a dedicated consultant helping you find schools that genuinely fit what you’re looking for.

✅ Schools with strong ECT programmes
✅ Clear behaviour systems and classroom support
✅ Opportunities to build confidence in your classroom practice
