Job description
EBD Teaching Assistant

Special Needs Teaching Assistants required in Primary schools ASAP.

Day-to-day/ long term temporary positions available.

Competitive pay-rates.

We are currently looking to register Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants with particular interest in EBD, to support students in various schools across East London.

We have requirements in specialist schools for children with EBD, as well as mainstream schools.
As a Teaching Assistant you will actively engage with students to promote interaction and co-operation with other students whilst ensuring that pupils make the most from curriculum based learning activities. You will have a great opportunity to support the teacher with classroom planning and behaviour management as well as monitoring and recording pupil's response to learning activities and general records.

The successful candidate will be working with EBD students and other associated challenging behaviour. You will be expected to use your own initiative and set a positive example to pupils to ensure as much progress as possible with their work and behaviour.
