We are recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistants to join vibrant primary schools across South London for September. About the Role

You will work within a Nursery or Reception class, supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence and independence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of engaging EYFS activities both indoors and outdoors.
  • Encouraging children's communication, language and social development.
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support where required.
  • Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supporting children's personal care where appropriate.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Assisting with observations and contributing to children's developmental progress.

Essential Requirements

  • A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (essential).
  • Previous experience working within a Nursery, Preschool or Primary School Early Years setting.
  • Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, proactive and reliable approach to work.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children's development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
