We’re working with a range of welcoming, well-run mainstream primary schools across Lewisham who are looking for caring, hands-on Early Years Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a long-term basis.

What your day might look like:

• Supporting children in Nursery or Reception as they explore, play and learn
• Helping with phonics, early writing and number work
• Getting stuck into creative activities, messy play included
• Providing 1:1 or small group support where needed
• Being a calm, friendly face that children feel safe around

What schools are looking for:

• Experience working with children in Early Years settings
• A patient, nurturing approach, you’re the calm in the chaos
• Confidence supporting learning through play
• A positive attitude and willingness to get involved in everything

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
