We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated Early Years Teaching Assistant in the Hartlepool area to work from September 2022 until July 2023 (term time only).

This OFSTED graded "Good" school is would be suitable for both experienced Teaching Assistants and recent graduates who have an interest in teaching but may have more limitied experience.

The ideal candidate will be able to work well within the team as well as supporting students 1:1 and in small groups.

We believe that continuity is crucial to the students we support so we are wanting someone who can commit to the duration of the assignment.

 

  • QTS (or equivalent)
  • Good numeracy, reading and writing skills 
  • Excellent classroom managements skills 
  • An enhanced DBS (which is accessible) or must be willing to apply for one 
  • References covering the last three years of employment (preferably recent work experience with young lives)

 

The position will begin in September 2022 and will continue on a long term basis until Summer 2023. 

A suitable candidate must have a strong knowledge of a classroom environment and preferably have experience working with younger people in a similar role

The ideal candiate    

  • Must be Full time (Monday to Friday) 8:30 - 3:30 
  • Offering guidance and support with regards to 1:1 learning 
  • Supporting the teachers and pupils by any means necessary in the classroom
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic and passionate

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
