Early Years Teaching Assistant
We are working with a friendly infant school close to Ruislip in the greater London borough of Hillingdon. The school are seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant or qualified Nursery Nurse to join their team team in September.
They have a family feel despite being a larger than average infant school, many of the staff have worked at the school for many years providing a supportive environment ideal for progression. The school are proud of their early years provision which has been rated as Good with Outstanding features at their last Ofsted.
They are looking for as skilled practitioner who has a level 3 qualification in childcare or working towards this. You will need to have exceptional time-keeping and organisational skills and have good levels of written and spoken English.
This is a great opportunity for a term time position during school hours, so ideal for someone with the skills and experience of working within a Pre-school environment and looking to make the move into working within a school. The hours of work are between 8:30-4 with a half hour lunch break. Initially offered as a maternity cover on a supply basis it’s an ideal opportunity to gain experience, which may lead to a permanent position in future.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
