Job description
A large 2 form entry primary school in Leeds are currently seeking a creative and well-organized Early Years Lead Primary Teacher to work in their Nursery and Reception Unit. The teacher will be responsible for all class planning and preparation ensuring all learning abilities are met, challenged and assessed. The right person should demonstrate a clear understanding of moderation and the attainment levels involved and ideally have some knowledge of statutory requirements withi n the Early Years. This school believes in the working together as a team to support the needs of all staff and children. This role is set to last for a minimum of 1 academic year starting after May half term but could potentially become a permanent role.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

* At least 12 months experience within a similar setting
* QTS or a PGCE
* A positive approach to teaching
* The ability to build good relationships with the staff and children
* Enthusiasm and the ability to engage pupils through effective learning
* Experienced with delivering phonics
