Job description
Early Years Teacher Needed - Halifax

Protocol Education are currently working with a Primary School In HX2 (Calderdale), who are currently seeking a Teacher for their Early Years Unit. The temporary position is to start in September, and last for 2-terms. This Primary School is an inclusive school and both the teaching and support staff work effectively to cater for the range of needs of all the children.

Teachers within the Early Years phase work very closely together, and the schools top priority is to improve achievement and attainment. The successful teacher for this job will need to be responsible and confident in ensuring the effective teaching and learning of Early Years & Foundation Stage pupils.

You must be committed to raising standards across the school, and willing to work towards career progression as a successful member of the Primary teaching team. Although this role is on a temporary basis, it could lead to long-term work at the school.

To be considered for this Primary Early Years Teaching job, you must have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE

Excellent behaviour management strategies

Experience of teaching EYFS

The ability to inspire, lead and deliver results.
