Job description
We are working on behalf of a nursery group looking for an Early Years Teacher for one of their settings. This is a permanent full time position (40 hours per week).

You must be Qualified to Early Years Professional Status (QTS) *PGCE *BA (Hons) in Early Education, or equivalent

The ideal Early Years Teacher candidate must have:
Strong leadership skills
A creative approach to learning and development
A genuine desire to make a position contribution from the start
Adaptable to meet the needs of the children and the Nursery
Friendly, flexible, reliable, committed
A team player who can support others and effectively communicate (verbally and in writing)

Early Years Teacher job description:
To plan and implent the EYFS curriculum
Lead and inspire the nursery staff with reflective practice, new ideas and an inspiring creative approach to childcare
Supervise, appraise and develop staff, supporting learning and challenging poor practice that falls short of regulatory and CHS requirements
Find opportunities for self-development and be a reflective practitioner
Communicate clearly and relate well to children, parents, staff and external agencies, in a calm and patient manner.
Positively promote the welfare of the children in our care
Share and support the strong ethos of our Nursery and foster positive relations with parents/carers
Keep children's' development records and produce Education and Care Plans when required
